Short-notice / emergency OOO templates.

When you have 60 seconds to set an OOO before you leave — illness, family emergency, sudden travel. Five templates that work without preparation.

Quick answer

Short-notice OOOs prioritize information over polish: when you'll be back (even approximate), who handles urgent matters, and a brief acknowledgment of the abruptness if appropriate. Skip apologies. The five templates below cover the main scenarios.
